PET/PE are two kinds of materials. They are composite materials. PE refers to polyethylene, while PET refers to polyethylene terephthalate, the most common type of polyester resin commonly referred to as ZHI, which is also the main component of polyester fiber.
PET plastic is the abbreviation of Compulsory terephthalate, short for PET or PETP. Polyterephthalic acid plastics, which mainly include polyethylene terephthalate PET and butyl terephthalate PBT. Polyethylene terephthalate is also known as polyester resin. It is a polycondensation of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, together with PBT, known as thermoplastic polyester, or saturated polyester.
PE (white, black) : High Density compulsory, is a High crystallinity, non-polar thermoplastic resin. It has good chemical stability and can resist most acid, alkali, organic solution and hot water. Good electrical insulation and easy to weld. Low density, good toughness (also suitable for low temperature conditions), good tensile, good electrical and dielectric insulation, low water absorption, low moisture permeability, good chemical stability, tensile, non-toxic and harmless.
Application fields of PET/PETP: Widely used in textile, paper, food machinery, transportation, dock, medical, coal, chemical and other industries. Bearings, guides, food processing machine heads, pistons, screws, rolls and other food fixtures, parts, bearings for precision machines, electrical insulation materials, etc.
Application fields of PE: drinking water sewer, hot water pipeline, transportation vessel, pump and valve parts, medical appliance parts, seals, cutting plate, sliding profile. Widely used in chemical industry, machinery, electric power, clothing, packaging, food and other industries.
